Support Groups

Hospice & HomeCare of Reno County offers three support groups on a regular basis.  Each group addresses a particular need that bereaved family and friends usually experience.

Touchstone Group

Touchstone is our core bereavement group.  It's an 11-week engagement for persons who are ready to explore grief through interaction and reflection.

Companion Care Group

Companion Care is for individuals who want to continue meeting after the core 11-week offering is completed.  This group generally meets on a monthly basis.  Participants are provided opportunities for grief conversation facilitated by a trained grief counselor.

Coffee Group

Our coffee group is designed for persons to meet independently for mutual support on an informal basis.  This group is self-guided.  Individuals meet at their discretion to offer grief companionship.

Coping - A Holidays Bereavment Group

Grieving the death of a loved one during the holidays can present unique challenges.  Can we mourn and celebrate at the same time?  Holiday Bereavement Group participants meet for one to three sessions to share holdiay concerns and sentiments.
