Hospice House is specifically for the care of Hospice patients during the final stages of their lives.

The Hospice House is actually a large home. There are twelve private bedrooms with an attached half bath. You and your family will have access to a kitchen, dining room, family room and patio (just to name a few of the options). Because of the home environment, you and your family are able to continue to make memories and find solace in being at a home versus in a hospital setting.

The Hospice House is staffed 24 hours per day with a minimum of a Registered Nurse and a Home Health Aide. The Hospice House staff is specifically trained in end-of-life care. In addition to the house staff, the agency social workers, chaplains and volunteers assist in providing emotional and spiritual support for you and our family. The Hospice Medical Director provides medical over-site and consultation to the Hospice team. Your primary physician continues to direct your care unless he/she chooses to transfer your care to the Medical Director.

The Hospice House is not a long-term care facility.
