As a licensed and certified provider of home health, HomeCare of Hutchinson is able to bill Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance carriers.
Medicare / Medicaid Coverage
When admission criteria are met, most services provided by home health agencies are covered by Medicare/Medicaid and you should not receive a bill. HomeCare of Hutchinson presently accepts Medicare assignment. Medicare and Medicaid can cover the following services:
- Intermittent skilled nursing visits
- Home health aide visits
- Medical social work visits
- Restorative therapy visits
- Physical Therapist
- Occupational Therapist
- Speech Therapist
- Supplies
- Some medical equipment
Most often pre-authorization is required for commercial insurance, workers compensation, and Champus claims.
Many insurance plans have co-payments and deductible amounts that are the patient's responsibility. You will receive a statement for those charges and we will work with you on an individual basis.
